Dear microscopists,
to make sure FILM is running to everybody's satisfaction, it is time
to congregate the FILM User Committee again. It has somewhat shrunk
since last time, due to people leaving or moving on to new jobs. Could
anyone interested in getting involved please let me know? It's not much
hard work, unless urgent issues arise and additional meetings are
requested, we only meet once a year and review the running of the
facility, to make sure the running of the facility, rules, support etc.
are fitting users' needs.
There was a proposal recently to have an dedicated user committee
meeting for our users in Hammersmith, to discuss local issues. If there
is general interest and enough representatives volunteer, we are happy
to organise such a meeting. Please let us know.
And for ALL FILM Users: The User Committee is the forum to discuss any
issues regarding the organisation of the facility. If there is anything
you would like to feed back, simply tell any member of the User
Committee or myself. Currently these are:
Eric Dubuis (Maria Belvisi lab)
Guy Rutter (PI)
Jennifer Frueh (Robert Krams lab)
Martina Lundberg (Jane Mitchell lab)
Nadia Guerra (PI)
Ralph Knoell (PI)
Simon Schultz (PI)
Vania Braga (PI)
Once the list is updated (keep an eye on the website), I'll organise a
meeting some time in February.
Good imaging,
Martin
