Dear microscopists,
we have now finalised the programme of this year's FILM Microscopy
Day, and I'm pleased to announce that we will finish the day with a
plenary lecture given by Spencer Shorte from the Institute Pasteur in
Paris on a new technique for intravital imaging. So don't miss out on an
interesting day! Those who have attended previous years will know that
this is an excellent opportunity to get answers to those questions you
always had about microscopy.
But even if you have participated previously, we have added new
topics - and after a successful start last year, the *Microscopy Match
Maker *is back - an excellent opportunity to form collaborations, get
ideas and feedback, or just see what other people are doing. The
presentations are only 3 minutes / max. 3 slides, so hard work to
prepare, so please make sure you put your name down. And supervisors,
please encourage your students and postdocs to participate, to show
their / your research and connect with other labs.
Please registrater NOW by email to <film-service at imperial.ac.uk>,
stating whether you will contribute a presentation for the Microscopy
Match Maker, a poster, (ideally) both, or just come and listen.
*Registration is free*, but we need numbers for catering and organisation.
See you all there, good imaging,
Martin
