Dear microscopists,
sorry for the long delay, the original demo didn't work out because
the demo equipment wasn't available. We will now have this demo on
_*Thursday 20 June 11.00-18.00*_. It will be installed on the FILM
Widefield 2 in room SAFB-409, South Kensington.
For organisational reasons, please register if you are interested by
reply to <film-service at imperial.ac.uk>, so we can organise time and space.
Good imaging,
Martin

Dear microscopists,
Brian Robertson has asked us to organise a short demo of the CellASIC
ONIX microfluidic system. It's a little microfluidic device which goes
on any microscope stage just like a multiwell plate and allows
sophisticated controls, perfusion etc. of the sample. See links below
for details.
Depending on the interest, we thought of organising the demo next Wed
/ Thu, and if there is interest, one of the days could also be in
Hammersmith. Please let us know if you are interested.
Good imaging,
Martin

Dear Brian,
My name is Donald Innes CellASIC ONIX Sales Specialist for the UK, I
believe that you have been in touch with Merck Millipore to request
further information on the CellASIC ONIX system?
Please find a couple of weblinks to both the Millipore website and the
CellASIC site:_

The CellASIC ONIX system uses microfluidic technology to enable
continuous live cell imaging with media flow. This propriety technology
allows cells to be exposed to different solutions and conditions via
pressurised flow channels controlled by user specific time intervals and
flow rates. The microfluidic plate can be used with a standard inverted
microscope and fits a standard multiwell plate stage.
I notice from your research page on the Imperial website that your
research is on TB and one aspect is looking at host:pathogen
interactions, I have attached an application note with further data:
I hope this gives you all the information you require, however please
don't hesitate to contact me if you require further information.
Best wishes,
Donald *
