Dear microscopists,
Birgit Leitinger is interested in buying the constructs for
mNeonGreen, a fluorescent protein described recently in Nature Methods
as particularly bright and also monomeric
(http://www.nature.com/nmeth/journal/v10/n5/full/nmeth.2413.html).
However, the company (http://www.allelebiotech.com/mneongreen) have an
unusual licensing strategy, to individual labs - if enough labs are
interested, the costs would go down from $600 to $100 per lab. Please
let us know if this would be interesting for you.
Good imaging,
Martin

Dear Birgit,
Thank you for contacting us regarding mNeonGreen. The price for a
single basic license is $300, and for the single advanced license it’s
$600. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate a partial department, but if
you can get the whole department on board it’s $100 per lab.
Additionally, if you pay $600 now, and in a few months the department
goes for the group license we can credit the $600 back to you.
For ordering you can place the order on our website or call it in. You
mentioned a quote in your email, do you know which option you would like
it for, or did you need two separate quotes (one for each option)?
Please let me know what I can do/provide you with to help you move
forward in this process. Additionally if you have any questions please
feel free to let me know.
Sincerely,
Abbas Hussain
