Hi Alexander,
Thanks for getting in touch. This is basically an issue of correspondence between the surface mesh and the volume mesh, meaning that your surface was of too bad quality for the tetrahedral mesher. There could be many underlying reasons, the most common ones being poor quality and/or non-watertight CAD. If you can zip your CAD file along with your MCF file, I can try and have a look if there is anything obvious.

"Cannot find corresponding element face for 2D element ..."
What can I do in this situation?
