XLink - where are we? [tiny amount of frustration]

The good news is that there has been, since August, an XML Linking
WG.  The bad news is that so far it hasn't done much (the old story,
resource constraints and people being real busy).  I share Peter's
opinion that XLink will be the next high-impact thing thing to come
out of the XML process, and that this should happen sooner rather 
than later. -Tim
