To be fair, note that XML itself, and in fact all W3C standards,
have member-confidential drafts. XLink, like XML, will have
lots of invited experts on board.
Also, not speaking for any group, I expect few suprises from
XLink - there have been more-or-less stable specs for over a
year and no real evidence that they don't work as intended. -Tim
