I was surprised to learn that this discussion had no bearing on XML
development issues.  I have long thought that a necessary part of
understanding a problem is touring its perimeter.  Of course, one
man's perimeter is another man's outlands.

Perhaps, Frank, you'll enlighten us as to the issues that, when they
are discussed in this forum, will meet with your approval.  Please
make sure your list will not allow anyone to tread on any personal,
political and/or philosophical positions, and don't forget to clarify
exactly where the perimeter is.
