Hi all,

IF this is a beginner question or it is in the FAQ please let me know.

I have a XML document.

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<PurchaseOrder>
    <OrderNumber>1001</OrderNumber>
    <Status>Pending</Status>
    <LineItem>
        <SKU>45669</SKU>
        <Quantity>1</Quantity>
        <Description>Professional</Description>
        <Price>449.95</Price>
    </LineItem>
    <LineItem>
        <SKU>22257</SKU>
        <Quantity>1</Quantity>
        <Description>Modem Cable</Description>
        <Price>17.95</Price>
    </LineItem>
    <LineItem>
        <SKU>47839</SKU>
        <Quantity>1</Quantity>
        <Description>Port Scanner W/ Software</Description>
        <Price>264.95</Price>
    </LineItem>
    <Total>732.85</Total>
</PurchaseOrder>

How can I extract the total amount from this file. How can I find there are
three lineitems to process. (PurchaseOrder.lineitem.length)???

Thanks

-Paul
