This research project is being conducted as part of a Bachelor of Information and Technology degree supervised by Dr. Carole Alcock in the department of Information and Computer Science Technology at the University of Wollongong, Australia.

The aim is to find out the importance of XML likely to be to the next phase of development of Web technologies?
