Real world DTD

| I'm hunting for a large, medium to high complexity DTD for XML for
| use as an example in a book. Ideally this DTD should be in the
| public domain. Less ideally, I can use a copyrighted DTD where the
| owner is willing to sign a permissions agreement allowing me to
| quote from it extensively and in its entirety.  Any suggestions?

Maybe the TEI Lite DTD, which you can find here:

Copyright issues seem a little murky, but should be possible to sort
out, methinks.


Or one step up in size, DocBook 3.1 in XML:

David Megginson has already included the SGML version of this one on a
CD-ROM with his 'Structuring XML Documents', so there should be hope
for you as well.
