Looks generally good to me.  There is not yet a settled solution to local
scoping of element names in the schema proposals, so you must either wait,
use attributes, or hope that no clashes occur in your databases.  You should
also be aware that the working draft has no guarantees of stability. 

Regarding the specific datatypes you define, you show min and max values in
some cases, and in those you include formats that might cause trouble:
"1.7E308" might be better as "1.7E+308" and the several that have commas in
them would face fewer internationalization problems if you omit the commas.
