What if we did not use the end-tag </tag> and just used </> to end our
tags would it not be a nice saving of bandwitdh? a document would look
like this in that case
<MYLIST>
       <LISTITEM>Listitem</>
       <LISTITEM>Listitem</>
       <LISTITEM>Listitem</>
</>
Should this be ok? Where should the problems be? There is no problem
with usual brackets in programming languages so why a problem here
knowing which end-tag that belongs to which start-tag?
