Software to parse, browse and manipulate DTDs

I have been looking for a tool that is capable to read in an XML DTD, and
do some processing on that: create a new XML document and dynamically fill
it in according to the DTD, browse elements, attribute lists, etc.

Do you know such tool in Java?
