My answer: forget about SML.
And thanks for your mail. It precisely demonstrates the danger of
pushing SML at this moment. There may be some virtue in it , I do not
know, but definitively not at this moment.
I mostly speak about XML with people who are not interested in meta
languages but in chemistry, physics, ....
They are perfectly happy if I say, well if you know that at the
beginning you must have <xxx> and at the end </xxx> and if you want an
attribute you need yyy = "aaa" or yyy = 'aaa' and now you can use XML on
daily basis and there is some more complicated stuff, as you will find
later, .. (and by the time it happens they are hooked)
Please forget about it for a year.
