Well... still. And anyway, it does turn out that it is not resolved after
all.

You are right, of course - I missed that, especially the "under current
proposal" part. BTW, I must say I'm starting to think Simon St.Laurent's
general approach to these issues is the right one - while fully appreciating
that it does not seem to be the way the W3C is heading :-(

Feel free; This mailing list does tend to get out of control at times
(remember the unnecessary chaos about namespaces and attributes?) I'm fully
willing to accept my well deserved share of slaps on the wrist. But hey,
"you'll never learn anything unless you are willing to occasionally make a
fool of yourself in public". I just hope not to make a habit of it.

I still think using three namespaces is a bad idea :-)
