The specification for Coins, version 4, is now available. Coins, for those
who haven't heard of it previously, is a tool for binding XML document
information to Java objects. XML can be used effectively to serialize Java
objects (in an open format) and programmers can develop Java objects that
operate on particular XML vocabularies.

Coins is now open-source, and the development process for version 4 will be
open as well. Participation, comments, questions, and suggestions are all
welcome.

See http://www.jxml.com/coins4/index.html for more detailed information on
the specification, licensing, and participation.
