The Chinese pages on the "Chinese XML Now!" site are now online. The
Chinese FAQ, terminology and test pages are available in Chinese. The
files are available in UTF-8 and Big5, with GB2312 to come. The site is
(fingers crossed) all HTML-in-XML, using voyager, so you can use the
site as general XML test pages too.

We are currently working on a project which will put up to 100 meg of
Chinese text online in XML (TEI) and perhaps with some kind of Xpointer
linkability, too.

The site is still aimed at Western developers, but will gradually move
to catering to Chinese developers after products support Chinese better.
We have had pretty good response from many developers so far.

If you want to test your product, a good file to use is
    http://www.ascc.net/xml/test/wfall/utf-8/test13.xml
which has almost all the Chinese tests rolled into a single file, with
guiding comments. Please feel free to add this file to your test suites:
if you handle this file correctly, your product is probably acceptable
for international markets, as far as its XML IO is concerned.
