XSchema and DTDs

Ed Howland says that IE5b2 supports DTDs and XSchema. I think that is not
quite true. IE5b2 supports DTDs and a large subset of XML-Data
(http://www.w3.org/TR/1998/NOTE-XML-data-0105/) as schema formats.

Regarding his question on which one (DTD or XML-Data) schema you should
create now, that depends on the features you need.

Regarding what is the long-term plan, the XML Activity has a chartered
working group to investigate and possibly recommend new schema formats.
