Store XML in ooDB

I want to write a Java program which stores a XML file in an ooDB like
Jasmine. The XML elements should be stored as objects but probably not on
the same detailed granularity as defined in DOM.

Does anyone have experiences with that? Is there some code out there to
play around with?
