All right. I wanted to see the momentum build visually on XML-DEV but I
guess there is enough interest to do this proper.

Request for Proposal: Namespace URI for HTML

Propose what you would like to see as the Namespace URI for HTML. I will
collect them all and post it on a public polling site (probably
www.freepoll.com) so that we can all take a wack at it. Please send it to
me personally rather than posting it to XML-DEV.

Current candidates:

0) "hell://no.stinking.namespace/4/HTML"
1) "http://www.w3.org/Markup/" - by David Megginson
2) "http://www.w3.org/HTML/1999/namespace" - by Tim Bray
3) "http://www.w3.org/HTML/2000/Namespace" - by Don Park (I like zeros :)
4) "http://www.xml.org/HTML/2000/Namespace" - (if Jon Bosak agrees)
5) "http://www.w3.org/Namespace/HTML/" - by Don Park (2nd try)

Deadline for proposal is: September 8th, 1999. Voting can start on 9th and
I think one week should be enough. Your comments are welcome.

Best,
